The baseball game scheduled for Thursday vs Booker in Stinnett has now moved to Wednesday 3/9 at 2:00 in Stinnett.

The Dumas route bus is running late. Your student will not be counted tardy.

Girls’ golf @ Borger has been moved to Tuesday, March 8th.
Boys’ golf has been moved to Wednesday, March 9th.

The varsity track meet @ Canadian has been moved to Tuesday.

Due to the snow day on February 3rd, parent/teacher conference that were originally scheduled for March 2nd have been cancelled. Students will be going to school for the full day on March 2nd and teachers will be in contact with parents to be scheduling the parent/teacher conferences.

On Saturday, February 5th six Sunray High School band students performed a prepared solo for a judge at WTAMU in Canyon for UIL Region Solo & Ensemble Contest. Sye Boatmun, Isabel Sanchez, Tory Trahern, Augustus Shirley, Maryn Hatfield, and Alessandro Zamarripa all received a first division (superior) from their judge. Tory Trahern and Alessandro Zamarripa advanced to UIL State Solo & Ensemble and will perform in Austin in May.



On February 4th, our middle school band students participated in Solo and Ensemble Competition. They prepared their music and travelled to Palo Duro High School in Amarillo to perform in front of a judge. Their judges rated them on a scale of 1 (superior) to 5 (poor).
Sunray had 7 ensembles and 6 solos perform. Six of those ensembles and five of those solos received a Superior rating! We are super proud of our kiddos!



This week's softball tournament at Dalhart has been rescheduled for Saturday only. The times are listed below:
