All campuses will be conducting a practice lockdown drill at 10:30 this morning.
Once again this is just a drill and no students are in danger.

Varsity boys are no longer playing in the WT tournament. They will play Gruver, Saturday at 2:00 in Gruver, for the first game in district.
REMINDER: Monday, March 4, 2024 will NOT be an early release for parent conferences. School will be on a regular Monday schedule. This will help the district meet the state-mandated minute requirement. The tennis match originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 3:00 here in Sunray.
Today’s tennis match with Hartley has been cancelled.
JH Relays at Fritch scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled. The coaches are currently working on rescheduling the varsity. We will post when more information is available.
Boys golf @ Highland Park has been cancelled for tomorrow.
High School One Act Play will be rescheduled to a later date due to fires in neighboring school districts. We will announce the date once it has been set and judges confirmed.
Softball is currently still on for 4:00 today. There will not be a JV girls game following.
Tomorrow’s softball games have been cancelled due to transportation issues.
The lady cats will play Dalhart Tuesday @ 4:00 in Sunray.
The boys games tonight in Fritch have been moved to JV boys at 6:15 and Varsity at 7:30.
Junior parents planning to attend the Class Ring Ceremony at 1:30 today please enter through the main entrance doors and then proceed to the auditorium.
There is currently a situation that local law enforcement and administration is monitoring. There has not been a threat made to Sunray ISD and Sunray ISD has not been identified as a target. As a precaution, local law enforcement will remain close to all campuses throughout the remainder of the day and will continue to monitor the situation.
With our Varsity girls basketball in a playoff game on Monday, February 12th, the school board meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday, February 20th at 7:00.
