The Sunray and Sanford-Fritch communities are joining together to help our neighbors in Dalhart. We will not charge admission to the Sunray vs Sanford-Fritch basketball games on Friday, January 26, 2024. In lieu of admission, the Sunray High School National Honor Society and Student Council will be taking donations for the family of the Dalhart Principal that passed away this week. Both communities thank you for your support.
Junior Class Ring Ceremony will be held on February 12th at 1:30 pm at the high school.

Sunray FFA and ag teacher, Sandra White were awarded a Force of Agriculture Grant by the Texas AgriWomen - Panhandle Chapter. This money will be used to add aquaponics systems in the greenhouse so that Wildlife, Fisheries and Ecology Management classes can work with Greenhouse Operations and Horticulture classes to produce vegetables and farm-raised fish.
Sunray ISD will have a school board trustee election on May 4, 2024. There are two seats up for election. If you are interested in running for a trustee seat, please stop by the business office during business hours or use the link below for the application. The deadline to submit the application for a place on the ballot is February 16, 2024.

January Menus
On Saturday, the high school robotics teams competed at Randall. They placed 4th and 13th out of 31 teams.
Sunray FFA is the recipient of the Ed Rachel Foundation Public School Grant and has received their classroom hydroponics sets! Students “planted” cucumbers, bell peppers and tomatoes to get started. Eventually, Greenhouse and Horticulture students will provide a salad bar for students in the New Commons at lunch with produce from the Greenhouse.
